Otter Lake Camp Resort presents a full range of fun activities for the whole family.
Activities change with the seasons, so you will never lack for
things to do regardless of the timing of your stay. In Spring
and Fall, planned weekend activities include softball and
volleyball games, ceramics on Saturdays, fire truck rides,
movies, and Bingo. Of course, holidays such as Easter Mother’s
Day, and Halloween have their own special themed events. In the
Summer, the resort’s Activity Director plans daily children’s
activities, including softball, kickball, soccer, fishing
contests, arts & crafts, and more. Adults and kids alike can
participate in our archery and ceramics classes. There are also
a daily fire truck ride and two Bingo sessions per week. On
Summer weekends, you will enjoy entertainment with live bands
and DJ’s on Saturday nights, church services on Sundays, and
much, much more.

If organized activities are not to your liking, there
are plenty of fun things to do on your own at Otter Lake.
No license is required for fishing in our well-stocked 60-acre
spring-fed lake. The lake has bass, pickerel, perch, sunfish and
catfish. Our lake is catch and release only. There are row
boats, canoes, kayaks and pedal boats for rent by the hour, day,
or week. You may also bring your own boat free of charge,
remembering that Pennsylvania state law requires life jackets
for each person and a whistle or horn in each boat. Electric
motors are permitted on registered boats, but not gasoline
motors.
We have swimming at three locations. Our outdoor pool has a
grassy lawn area for sunning, a diving area with a diving board,
a slide, and a separately enclosed kiddie pool. We also have a
new splash park for children opening in June 2012! On the lake,
there is a sandy beach with a roped off swimming area. The
heated indoor pool is open all year, with limited hours in the
Spring and Fall and only weekend hours from mid October until
May. A sauna and 2 whirlpools are also located at the indoor
pool area.
There are 4 tennis courts, 2 racquetball courts, and a
basketball court – all with lights for night use. Two
shuffleboard courts and horseshoe pits are also available.
Sports equipment with a deposit a deposit; however, We do not
supply either tennis balls or racquet balls. We have four
playgrounds in different areas of the campground, insuring that
your children will not have to go far to have fun.
